Good morning!
I can’t believe this is the final week of online learning! I just want to take this time to tell ALL of you how incredibly proud I am of how you have embraced this change, and have continued to engage with your learning! I have been truly impressed with your genuine interest in the learning activities posted on our class website and I have been inspired by your willingness to use this time to explore and engage in your own interests and passions over the past few months. I have really enjoyed talking about the different things you have been doing with your time at home! Hearing stories of building projects, helping around the house, cooking dinner and baking, acquiring new pets, camping, spending quality time with family, playing card games, creating art- are just a few of the many cool things you have shared with me! I know this is not how any of us thought our school year together would end, but I am truly thankful for all of the great days and all of the time we got to spend together this year! Looking through some photos, I am reminded of all of the fun things we were able to do together-even if our time was cut short! Playing basketball and dancing outside during Joy Time on Day 6, working on projects like your commercials, persuasive writing letters, science experiments, math explorations and Lego Robots are some of my favorites. Memories of the Fall Ball at Halloween, Christmas Concert, Welcome to Our Crib, Skiing at Ross Creek and our Human Rights/Forks skating field trip are also some of my highlights for this year! Just some reminders, we will have our last class Zoom meeting this Friday, at 1:00. I will send the link later on in the week. I will be in touch with each of you in the next few days to discuss our plan regarding the remainder of June and our Grade 6 Farewell. Talk soon, -Mrs. Conway

Good morning!
I hope everyone is well! Just a reminder that shoes, supplies and belongings are ready to be picked up today and tomorrow. Please come on the day assigned to your YOUNGEST child. If you have any questions please let me know! Although all belongings are being picked up, please know that I will continue to post activities and learning ideas to our website for next week, June 8-June 12. After next week, I will be in contact with you to discuss how things will look moving forward for the remainder of June. We are also still looking at how to best celebrate our fantastic Grade 6 students before the end of the school year-so stay tuned! I miss seeing everyone! I can't wait for our next class Zoom on Friday June 12th! I will send the invite closer to the date. Until next time, Mrs. Conway |
